Floral Fusion 1

Photographing different subjects helps me keep my creative edge. To that end I come up with Fine Art projects to push myself both with my camera and my postproduction skills. The photos you will see from this post are from a project I call Floral Fusion. Again, looking at things we see every day and trying to see them in a different way, in this case creating an abstract view of plants.

These four photos are just a small part of over 100 images of more than 18 original plants I photographed. I started with the original image followed by some abstract versions. I created 15 versions os this image alone. I will be posting more images from this project as I go. I hope you enjoy!

Clouds

One of the things I like to do is see everyday things in a different way. Clouds are one of my favorite objects to photograph. You can find some of the most interesting shapes and textures in clouds. I have posted a few of my personal favorites for your enjoyment.

Living a better life

I have been talking to a lot of friends and business acquittances and almost without exception they feel life seems to be a bit harder to live. Tough times are going to be with us for awhile, and the only thing we have control over is what we think and how we feel! So starting today I'm going to offer a thought of day, as much for me as anyone else. I hope they help!

The First Day

Today is a new day for me as I move further into the 21st Century with my new blog! I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. I am looking forward to sharing my different photographic projects and
 latest wedding images as well as my thoughts and ideas on photography and life. Thanks to all those who have been supporting my efforts especially my amazing wife Lana! Every man should be so lucky!
